Absolutely, we pride ourselves on keeping your patient information secure and private. This is a top priority for CareVitality. We provide healthcare cybersecurity consulting to health systems and practices for over a decade and we have designed our system to be private, secure, and HIPAA-compliant for your online visit.
How long is typical patient visit with a therapist?
A typical nutrition/ dietitian virtual visit is 30 minutes. If your feel the need for additional visits with your nutritionist you can always schedule them at the end of your visit or at a later time.
What is the cost for a virtual visit with a nutritionist/ dietitian?
It depends if your insurance company or employer offers telehealth coverage. You can contact your insurance company or Human Resources at your employer or login to our portal and check for yourself. Otherwise, if you are self-pay a virtual visit costs $70 with our nutritionist/ dietitian.
What is a virtual visit with a dietitian/ nutritionist?
Through the CareVitality mobile app or online, you can see a dietitian/ nutritionist to address concerns regarding your nutrition or diet from the privacy and comfort of your own home or desired location. CareVitality’s national dietitian/ nutritionist network provides online therapy services. We have over 250 dietitian/ nutritionist covering a wide array of needs for our patients.
Do I need to schedule a time for a virtual visit with a dietitian/ nutritionist?
Yes, our dietitians/ nutritionists are available through scheduled sessions. To schedule an appointment that works best for you there are three (3) options:

Once you finish your appointment if you need a follow up visits you can schedule it with your dietitian/ nutritionist at the end of your session.

How is a Nutritionist different from a Registered Dietitian (RD)?
All providers at CareVitality that provide nutrition support are registered dietitians. A nutritionist is a vague term since a person can call themselves a nutritionist without any education or training. A registered dietitian is considered a nutritionist but has an extensive training, a bachelors degree, and has experience working with patients and passed their national registration exam.
How are CareVitality Dietitians/ Nutritionists chosen?
Carevitality chooses experienced and registered dietitians/ nutritionist to be a part of their CareVitality Telehealth group. A patient can choose from a registered dietitian/ nutritionist who is able to practice in their state to help them. Our Dietitians/ Nutritionists are trained to provide service.
Do you have therapists outside the United States?
At this time we provide care in the United States but we will be expanding internationally in the future.
